Position Description
University of Michigan Health-West is seeking a part-time, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP). Candidate will need to coordinate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a positive experience for all patients, families, and staff.

Opportunity Details
Ability to work closely with a partnering team of specialists encompassing 37+ specialty care and hospital-based service lines
Demonstrates expertise in neonatal assessment, interpretation of physical and psychological status of infants and families, therapeutic interventions, and the implementation of the plan of care including discharge planning.
Discriminates between normal and abnormal findings obtained by history, physical screening, behavioral assessments, and in collaboration with the designated physician, implements an appropriate management plan.

State of Michigan Advanced Practice Licensure required. Master’s degree with Neonatal Nurse Practitioner training and certification
Minimum 2 years’ experience as an RN of which at least two are in a Level III NICU; certification (ANA/AWHONN) as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (within 12 months of program completion if graduate NNP).
