We look forward to hearing from Dana about this very important topic for our clients.
Your GAPNA Board
Dear Friends,
Though we are still enjoying warm weather, at Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly, we’re already looking ahead to the holidays – the time of year we give over 1,000 elders a personalized gift. Our elders have provided their wish list for the upcoming holiday season and planning is underway to fulfill each wish. Oftentimes, it’s the only holiday gift an elder will get. Receiving a gift, and not just any gift, but an item they want or need, serves as a powerful reminder to our elders that they are not alone, especially during a season usually spent with family and friends.
But we couldn’t do it without your help! If you, a group of coworkers, family or friends would like to participate, simply fill out this
sign up form to let us know you’d like to participate by October 1. Then we’ll contact you with your elders’ gift wishes.
If shopping is not possible, but you’d still like to participate, you can make a gift to support the Elder Holiday Gift Program. Your
monetary donation will go toward fulfilling an elder wish.
Bring
unwrapped gifts in a gift bag, to Little Brothers (
355 N. Ashland Ave., Chicago, IL 60607) beginning Friday, October 12th. Our team of volunteers will confirm the items received prior to wrapping them for delivery beginning December 3rd , spreading holiday cheer that would not be possible without your generous donations.
