I’m reaching out because AFA is currently recruiting for care professionals to become involved with our Excellence in Care program of distinction in the Chicago/northern Indiana area.

Through comprehensive on-site evaluations of care settings (such as assisted living residences, skilled nursing facilities, and adult day programs), AFA’s trained EIC specialists work with participating facilities to enhance their dementia care programs by examining crucial facets of care, ranging from staff education to the physical environment to meaningful living and active engagement. AFA’s EIC specialists are integral in furthering the organization’s efforts to promote best practices in dementia care nationwide.

Becoming an AFA EIC specialist allows dementia care professionals a unique and valuable opportunity to promote national standards of dementia care in their local communities, develop professionally, network, and earn supplemental income. Care professionals with experience in dementia care are encouraged to apply by submitting an application, resume, and enrollment fee. Please note that since you are already a Dementia Care Partner, your enrollment fee is discounted.
