The Chicagoland Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses (CGAPN), the Chicago chapter of the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association (GAPNA) invites you (practitioners, faculty, and students) to a FREE panel presentation, discussion and contact hour.
Major topics covered are:
- Advantages of obtaining DNP
- Concerns/Challenges of returning to school
- Current challenges, a student’s perspective
- Overview of resources and programs available in the Chicagoland area

Contact Hours Offered:
This event offers 1.0 contact hours to attendees. To receive contact hours participants must attend the presentation and pass a short post-test demonstrating knowledge of advantages and concerns/challenges related to obtaining a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and resources and DNP programs available in the Chicagoland area with a score of 80% or higher and submit an evaluation form.
This activity has been submitted to the Ohio Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. The Ohio Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (OBN-001-91).
There is no conflict of interest for anyone with the ability to control content of this activity.
