Presenter:    Karen Vuckovic PhD, APRN, ACNS-BC, Clinical Associate Professor at University of Illinois College of Nursing, APRN in the Heart Failure Program, and adjunct faculty in the College of Medicine.  

Date: August 11th, 2022, 7 pm (CST)

Time:  Onsite meeting opens at 6:30 and virtual conference link opens at 6:40 pm for networking (CST).  Dinner provided for onsite attendees.

CGAPN, the Chicago chapter of the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association (GAPNA) invites you (practitioners, faculty, and students) to a FREE presentation, discussion for one contact hour.

Major topics covered are:

·       Defining deprescribing and critically review current guidelines.

·       Applying the process of deprescribing to specific drug classes.

·       Discuss how to achieve goal-aligned deprescribing in older adults
